I got tickets this morning to see the Philadelphia Eagles play the Washington Redskins with Michael Angelo (@dirtygirls4life) on December 23rd at Lincoln Financial Field. This rules for a variety of reasons, the most prominent being that this game takes place during Week 16 and could have a heavy impact on the division and the post season. The other more obvious reason is that we get to see Vick go toe-to-toe with RG3 (AKA the New Michael Vick). Beyond stoked. Pretty decent seats too.
Nike unveils their new NFL Jerseys. Minimal changes to most teams, including the Eagles.
I wish I could say I’ve accepted that the Eagles will not be making a playoff run this year. The off season and camp seemed so optimistic. I have been a staunch Reid supporter up until today, but I’ve reached the breaking point. De-activating Jackson was a self inflicted wound, and Maclin getting banged up was unfortunate, but the fact that LeSean McCoy only had 14 touches the whole game set me over the edge. With your 2 top receivers out he’s obviously your best player, and arguably the best runningback in the NFL. Yet the Eagles are leading once again in the fourth quarter and for some reason feel the need to pass. Reid has to go.
…And if Reid isn’t gone next year, Castillo better be. He’s totally incompetent as a defensive coordinator. He’s totally mis-using Nnamdi’s ability to be a shut down, man corner. He’s got rookies like Jaquan Jarrett and Brian Rolle covering Larry Fitzgerald! Are you kidding?
Lastly, Vick and Jackson need to step it up. Vick is making bad decisions, and regressing to the Atlanta Falcon Michael Vick we all know. He wasted a timeout early in the fourth quarter, with 30 seconds on the play clock, because he couldn’t read the coverage! That or he wasn’t getting a clear call from the coaches. Jackson is acting like a child. I honestly don’t think I’d be upset if we canned him next season and drafted someone who could become a true #1 receiver. Someone tall and physical, and dangerous in the red zone.

I’m just gonna leave this here.
Philadelphia Eagles vs. Washington Redskins, 2010 Week 10-
LETS DO THIS AGAIN.
Don’t break my heart, Eagles.
Hoping these two have a big day, with some big downfield strikes, against the 49ers.
“I’m very excited for the opportunity to play against the New York football Giants.” - Michael Vick
I’m very excited to watch him light it up against their injured secondary, and watch the defense get inside Eli Manning’s head.
